DVRs are great...

...and I really like ours, but they do come with a problem. Before, we had three TVs; now we have only one, because nobody wants to watch live television with all those pesky commercials. It's like the old days: you fight over the TV. The good news is that it forces you to do other things, like read a book once in a while or play a board game. Anything is better than regular television.
