Now that the first presidential debate...

...is in the history books (and we all agree that the president got his clock cleaned), let's begin to cut through all the clutter and have a look at some of the consequences of Mitt Romney's agenda, in this case health care.

In Paul Krugman's column in the Times this morning, according to the nonpartisan Commonwealth Foundation, as many as 89 million Americans -- more than a third of the population under the age of 65 -- would be without health insurance. Now that means that someone you know -- a relative, a neighbor or a friend -- would likely be without access to health care in the richest country on the planet.
