As we move into Week 7...

Neuqua's Joey Rhattigan has rushed for over 900 yards this season.
...of the Illinois high school football season (of which I will not be in attendance), I thought it might be interesting to look at some of the state's more potent offenses. (I got this idea when writing yesterday's post, which mentioned in passing some of the area's stingiest defenses.) This list is by no means exhaustive; let me know if there are any glaring omissions.

Bolingbrook (240 total points scored; 40 points per game average.)

Palatine (242; 40.33)

Glenbard West (244; 40.67)

Boylan (244; 40.67)

Waubonsie (247; 41.167)

Wheaton North (254; 42.33)

Kaneland (260; 43.33)

Mount Carmel (265; 44.167)

Neuqua (267; 44.5)
