Speaking of bad names...

...here's one for a whole people: the Kurds. It just doesn't roll off the tongue well. It sounds too much like the "Turds," which is not a good mental image, or it just makes me think of cottage cheese. Shouldn't a name be more dignified than that? I wonder if it would be too late to change. I'd recommend at least two syllables.
