I keep hearing people say...

...that Sarah Palin needs to study up on the issues before she runs for president. Chris Matthews said recently that she should "hit the books." But is that the kind of person we want as president? Shouldn't Palin's lack of knowledge be a disqualifying factor? Shouldn't we instead want someone who's already learned?
