The New York Times...

...printed this picture with an article in its business section, "Despite Exposure of Madoff Fraud, New Ponzi Schemes Emerge." The caption read:
 
Scott W. Rothstein, a lawyer in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., was accused in 2009 of defrauding investors of up to $400 million in a Ponzi scheme.

Now, you might ask yourself, "Was it a cheap shot for the Times to print a photo of Mr. Rothstein that made look like such a . . . character?" 

Maybe. But would you have felt better about this picture?
