Timothy Geithner's trip to China...

...makes me think we could be at the dawn of a new era of Pax Sino-Americana. The Chinese seem most interested in dragging their populace up into the middle class and unrest is, as a mobster would say, "bad for bissness." So it wouldn't surprise me to see the Chinese do some serious leaning on the Koreans and Iranians and others to knock off all the mischief and get with the program. If the U. S. and China can get together on this, they could pretty much rule the world.
