Tim Pawlenty is...

...taking all the necessary steps to make a run for the Republican nomination in 2012. Aside from his shameless pandering to the right wing in regard to Obama's recent speech to schoolchildren, I find the man utterly charisma-challenged. He could get the nod as running mate but that's about it.
