...let me recommend a show he did with two evolutionary biologists, Edward O. Wilson and James Watson (one of the two discoverers of DNA). I just found out that it's available on You Tube. Even the scientifically-challenged like me can appreciate it.

That was a good show and representative of the kind of interesting guests who won't show up in the rest of the talkingheads-o-sphere. What amazed me most was how highly they both revered Darwin. Not that it's surprising to revere the founder of evolution, but if I recall correctly Watson didn't flinch in placing his importance far ahead of Eistein.
Speaking of movies, Adaption is a really interesting one that involves concepts of evolution and geneology, relating them to frustrations with originality and authenticity. It was written by Charlie Kaufman (Being Jon Malkovitch, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) who usually does a good job of combining entertainment with thought provoking themes.
I liked how they said that evolution implied "no designer." How refreshing!
