The Times has a short piece today...

...on Bob Eubanks. Remember him? He was the original host of "The Newlywed Game" back in 1966. The 72-year-old is hosting the show again on the Game Show Network, whatever that is. Eubanks has a good sense of humor, though. He jokes that

“You know you’re old when someone says, ‘Nice alligator shoes,’ and you’re barefoot.”

Eubanks still marvels at the whole premise of "The Newlywed Game." "We peered into people’s bedrooms," he said. "And what did the contestants get for that? Rice-a-Roni or a can of Turtle Wax."
