...check in with the latest U. S. Senate polls. Since we last looked, we have only one to report: according to Rasmussen, which is a Republican pollster, Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky has a seven point lead over his challenger, Alison Lundergan Grimes.

I still think the Democrats will hold the upper chamber.
