Richard Dysart, a character actor...

...who played a doctor in “Being There” (1979), died at age 86.

I had forgotten Dysart was in that movie. It's "an adaptation of Jerzy Kosinski’s short satirical novel about a simple-minded gardener (Peter Sellers) who becomes a presidential adviser."
