That's right. While it may have been okay to have "Mayor One Percent" in office as long as a progressive like Pat Quinn was governor of Illinois, the thought of having two champions of the rich may be just too much for Chicagoans to stomach. Since Rauner has shown himself to be "Scott Walker on steroids," voters may decide on April 7 that -- for balance -- having a progressive like Jesus Garcia as mayor may not be the worst idea in the world.
