Which Republican candidate...

...for president would do the most to reduce the national debt?

According to Ezra Klein's blog, assuming a baseline of debt-to-GDP ratio of 86 percent by 2021, Mitt Romney would actually increase that number to 96 percent. Rick Santorum would increase it to 105 percent, and Newt Gingrich to 114 percent.

Does the Tea Party know that?

The tea party doesn't care about the debt - Otherwise they would have spoken up when Bush turned a surplus into a $1 Trillion deficit. The Tea Party only cares that a Scary Brown Man ( Muslim Kenyan Socialist! ) is the one spending it.

So, because non is these jokers is Brown - they will line up behind whicherver one of them is the nominee.
