When I hear some of today's Republicans...

...talk about the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution it reminds me a little of the way evangelicals talk about the Bible. (Republicans seem to love, especially, the part about our rights being "endowed by our Creator.")

And it makes me wonder, sometimes, if Republicans in the not-too-distant future -- say, a couple of hundred years from now -- will consider America's founding documents to be divinely inspired also.
