Governor Mitch Daniels...

...of Indiana, a possible candidate for the 2012 Republican nomination, got into trouble with the Religious Right recently when he told the Weekly Standard:

...the next president, whoever he is, “would have to call a truce on the so-called social issues. We’re going to just have to agree to get along for a little while.”

Ouch.

Daniels has since had a change of heart:

As Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels mulls a presidential run in 2012, he announced plans to sign a bill making Indiana the first state to pull federal funding from Planned Parenthood, a move that could boost his standing among social conservatives.
___

Richard Land, president of the Southern Baptist Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission, wrote an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal in March expressing social conservatives' anger with Daniels for his "truce" statement, but Land now says the decision to defund Planned Parenthood shows the Indiana governor's commitment to social issues.

"I'm very pleased. It shows that while he's doing everything he can to improve Indiana's fiscal situation, there's no need to call a 'truce' on social issues," Land told ABC News. "He's clearly demonstrated the ability to walk and chew gum at the same time."

Or, as Nancy Keenan of Pro-Choice America put it, “He called a truce on social issues, and he was the first to fold.”

The Eli Lilly *Viva Zyprexa" scam occurred 1996-2003 so Mitch Daniels was 4 years in the thick of it.
Eli Lilly Zyprexa can cause diabetes I took Zyprexa a powerful Lilly schizophrenic drug for 4 years it was prescribed to me off-label for post traumatic stress disorder was ineffective costly and gave me diabetes.
Eli Lilly's #1 cash cow Zyprexa drug sale $40 billion dollars so far,has a ten times greater risk of causing type 2 diabetes over the non-user of Zyprexa. So,here we have a conflict of interest that this same company also is a big profiteer of diabetes treatment.
FIVE at FIVE
The Zyprexa antipsychotic drug, whose side effects can include weight gain and diabetes, was sold for "children in foster care, people who have trouble sleeping, elderly in nursing homes."
Five at Five was the Zyprexa sales rep slogan, meaning 5mg dispensed at 5pm would keep patients quiet.
Google * Eli Lilly Zyprexa * and read the links. I took Zyprexa it gave me diabetes and was as addictive as tobacco. How so? Because withdrawal is accompanied by severe insomnia for 6 weeks.
