Republicans in Congress say...

...they want to "repeal and replace" the Affordable Care Act. Yesterday, the House voted 245 to 189 to repeal the law.

And the replacement part?

Republican leaders said they had not set any timetable for the four committees drafting alternatives to the law. “I don’t know that we need artificial deadlines for the committees to act,” [House Speaker John] Boehner said.

In other words, they don't have one just yet. (The Democrats passed the 1993 Republican plan last year.)

Or as Representative Allyson Y. Schwartz, Democrat of Pennsylvania, put it, “Many Republicans want to repeal the law, but are not serious about replacing it.”
