Krauthammer says this could be the biggest and highest-quality field that perhaps either party has had since at least 1980. And, on paper, he's right.
There are at least eight "accomplished" governors, including Jeb Bush, Scott Walker, Mike Huckabee, Chris Christie, John Kasich, Rick Perry, Bobby Jindal and George Pataki. (Nine if you count Jim Gilmore of Virginia.) And they represent five of the biggest (and most influential) states: Florida, New Jersey, Ohio, Texas and New York.
In addition, the field features five "distinguished" senators: Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, Rick Santorum and Lindsey Graham, two of whom represent Texas and Florida.
According to Krauthammer, a dozen of them picked at random would be able to fill one of the "highest-quality cabinets of our lifetime." That's a "very strong field," he insists. Krauthammer also notes that such a talented field, including "three heavyweights: Rubio, Walker and Bush," is quite rare.

Because Krauthammer is a liar. A propagandist. Not a journalist by any stretch. Not even worthy of the title "pundit". Just someone paid to lie on TV and in print. Kasich is probably the only one who might not run the country into a ditch. And his chances are nil.
