The Norridge native piloted Driscoll to its first state championship back in 1991. Now, two of his former players are coaching in the Chicago area, Tim Racki at Nazareth and Mike Burzawa at Evanston. (Racki coached Driscoll to four championships before Burzawa took over and added three more. Wow!)
How long will it be before the Friars get Nazareth and Evanston on their schedule? The Roadrunners, in nearby LaGrange Park, would make for a particularly good rival.
