Jon Huntsman is out...

...of the Republican race and some, like Frank Bruni in the Times today, are (sort of) lamenting his exit from the scene.

Not me.

Huntsman, like all the other GOP candidates, raised his hand during one of the many debates in response to the question, "Would you refuse a deficit deal that was ten-to-one spending cuts?"

Also, after famously tweeting that he believed in evolution and climate change, walked it back shortly after. Not exactly a Profile in Courage.

Huntsman was supposed to be the one sane voice in an otherwise House of Mirrors Republican campaign. But he chose not to be.

Good riddance.
