...the Highwaymen (and the father of actor Tom Robbins), died at age 80. The Highwaymen recorded such hits as "Michael" and the Leadbelly song "Cottonfields," above.

("Cottonfields" mentions that the fields are "down in Louisiana, just about a mile from Texarkana." In reality, Texarkana is about 30 miles north of the Louisiana border. Good song, though.)
