...said recently that abortion was "well over 90 percent of what Planned Parenthood does." When it was pointed out that this was a slight exaggeration (the number is closer to 3%), Kyl's office explained that "his remark was not intended to be a factual statement."

Predictably, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert skewered the Arizona senator. (It would be hard to top either one of them.) But I can't help thinking of George Costanza's final words of advice for his friend, Jerry, just before taking a polygraph exam:
