...(among others) from the first round of the IHSA playoffs:

Matt Alviti, Maine South (above): Was 15-for-19 for 272 yards and three touchdowns. Also ran for 43 yards and a touchdown in a 47-0 win over Notre Dame.

Nick Burrello, Glenbard West: Ran for 195 yards and three touchdowns and had four catches for 89 yards and a touchdown in a 51-12 win over Plainfield North.

Shepard Little, Schaumburg: Ran for 224 yards on 15 carries and scored two touchdowns in a 38-21 win over Elk Grove.

Malik Norman, Homewood-Flossmoor: Ran for 217 yards and three touchdowns in a 41-14 win over Curie.

Justin Wallace, Fremd: Carried the ball 43 times for 288 yards and three touchdowns in a 24-13 win over Evanston.
