Ryan's budgets are "conservative" only in the original sense of the word - to preserve the power and status of the established elite. They seek to only comfort the comfortable, and if they they also afflict the afflicted, all the better.
If Romney hangs the albatross of Paul Ryan around his neck, Obama will win in a walk-off. The red/blue map will look like the confederacy and the union.
