The Times has an article today...

...about the making of James Agee's 1941 book, Let Us Now Praise Famous Men, which was about rural poverty in the American South. It was accompanied by Walker Evans photographs like the one above. You can read the piece here.

But what caught my attention was the name of the Alabama sharecropper in this picture: Bud Fields.
