...thought of as the "most evil" man in town? Wouldn't that bother you, even just a little? And imagine if that was in your obituary, in the New York Times!
Peter Flanagan (above), an aide to Richard Nixon, died this week at age 90. Ralph Nader, the consumer advocate, once called him the "most evil" man in Washington. (I guess that was before Dick Cheney showed up.) Now, I'm sure a guy like Flanagan didn't think much of Ralph Nader, but still, wouldn't you think that would at least give him pause?
I wonder if Flanagan ever lay awake at night thinking, Am I living the best life I can?
