People talk about the eternal truths...

...of religion as if that's something to be admired. Often the same people disdain evolution as just a "theory," subject to change. But that's the whole point. Religious dogma is static and in many cases hasn't changed in a thousand years. When it does, it's often by the vote of a committee. Science, on the other hand, is constantly changing as it is open to new research and information. Anyone can come up with a new scientific finding. That's a strength, not a weakness.
