I have only four games...

...to recommend for Week Eight, none of them north of Madison Street. (Will the Cubs be playing on Friday night? If so, everyone on the North Side will be watching them anyway.)

But if you live out west:

Batavia (6-1) at Geneva (7-0)
This contest will be for first place in the Upstate Eight (River) Conference. The Bulldogs handed Oswego (6-1) its lone defeat of the season, 36-28, in Week One. And its only loss was at home to Naperville Central (6-1), 34-14, two weeks ago. Geneva's biggest win was probably that 35-20 victory over Richards (4-3) on the road in Week Two.

Down south:

Oak Forest (7-0) at Lemont (6-1)
Another game to decide the conference lead, in this case the South Suburban (Blue). The Bengals beat Tinley Park (5-2) last week, 35-27, which gives them credibility going into this tilt. Lemont's one defeat was at the hands of Richards (4-3), 28-24, at home in Week Three.

Eisenhower (6-1) at Reavis (6-1)
Still another game for the conference lead, the South Suburban (Red). The Cardinals lost to Geneseo (6-1), 48-26, in Week Two and beat Richards (4-3) last week, 33-27, at home. Reavis, on the other hand, lost to Richards (4-3), 28-13, on the road in Week Four.

Homewood-Flossmoor (7-0) at Sandburg (6-1)
My Game of the Week (check back tomorrow). Save me a ticket this time, will ya?
