The mayor must have sensed that I wanted to have a quiet brunch with my family because he pretended not to see me. (And I appreciate that.)
Next time I see him, though, I think I'll just spare him all that awkwardness and go right up and say "hello." I'm sure he'll be very interested to hear all my suggestions on how to better run the city.
