..."The AAA (Arkansas Athletics Association) passed a rule on transfers 3-4 years ago. If you transfer to, or from, a public to a private school, you lose a year of eligibility."

I thought of this when I read Edgy Tim's piece in the Tribune last night:

Don't be surprised if: Morgan Park (3-3) gets into the playoffs after a 1-3 start. Five players who transferred to Julian returned to Morgan Park last week, including standout DE Khairi Bailey. The Mustangs had a big victory last week against Robeson.
