If 75 percent of the GOP electorate...

...is lukewarm on Mitt Romney right now, and the other 25 percent support him largely because they think he can defeat President Obama, how will Republicans feel if the economy recovers somewhat by November and he's trailing by five or ten points?

They'll desert him in droves.
