Romney's problems are manifold, but they start with something very basic: he's in the wrong party. Really, is there anyone out there who doesn't think Mitt is a closet Democrat? After all, Romney governed Massachusetts as a non-ideological problem-solver.

I vying for the bid for the Republican nominee, he has had to tack farther to the right than almost everyone else in the field. Being a semi-moderate (at least in his early years), no wonder he is a flip-flopper.
