Charles Kaman, whose last name...

...was pronounced ka-MAN, according to his obit in the New York Times, died at age 91. (Or was it pronounced, "C'mon!"?)

Mr. Kaman, it says, was:

...an innovator in the development and manufacture of helicopter technology, the inventor of one of the first electrically amplified acoustic guitars and the founder of the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, which trains German shepherds as guide dogs for the blind and the police.

Mr. Kaman is survived by his daughter, Beanie.
