Can the Ramblers avenge last year's 21-14 semifinal loss to the Hawks? (Loyola Coach John Holecek is 0-2 against the Park Ridge squad.) And if so, will they get another chance to play Mount Carmel?
Or is Maine South on its way to winning a third consecutive 8A championship? Before last week's 20-9 win over previously undefeated Stevenson, the Hawks had averaged 47 points in nine straight victories.

Will the Vikings continue their Cinderella run and go to the finals for the first time since 1994? (Last year, H-F won only one game.) Or will the Caravan spend Thanksgiving in Champaign?

I can't wait to see the Mustangs play Wheaton Warrenville South. But first, St. Rita has to get past the Bears, whom they defeated in the 2006 state final, 35-21.
