Are you worried...

...about the deficit? You needn't be, according to economist James Galbraith. (Yes, he's the son of John Kenneth Galbraith.) I'm not saying I agree or disagree, but it's the subject of an interesting interview with Galbraith on Ezra Klein's blog. I particularly liked this observation of his:

Since the 1790s, how often has the federal government not run a deficit? Six short periods, all leading to recession.
