The real audience for today's...

...health care summit is the media. No layperson could possibly pay attention for six hours and/or process all of this information.

In the next few days, the media will act as a filter and mold public opinion. If it breaks in favor of reform, the bill will pass. If not, the congressional Democrats will cave.

I'll be watching Intrade.com for clues.
