I understand Brain's need to connect. She called it a bit "strange", but it is difficult. Not many people would have the patience to listen to an old high school friend talk about music at 3:00 a.m. in the morning I guess even if that person was Brian Wilson. I guess she was not overawed at his fame which is probably a good thing and probably why in part he liked her and wanted to reconnect with her, a person from his past.
